Pounds), then you can use our Shipping
Estimator to calculate how much it will cost
to ship to your door.

The Shipping Estimator is not exact, but is a very close estimate. We
charge shipping and handling by dimensional weight, which may depend on
the combination of products ordered and their packing configuration.
In order to find your exact shipping cost, enter your order on line
(click any category name on the ExporThai home page).
Shipping cost will be calculated for you on-line after you click
"Checkout" and before you pay. If you do not want to accept the
shipping cost, just click on the "Home" button at the top of the page.

How long will it take to
receive my order?
We estimate that you will
receive your order about 7-14 days after we receive your payment.
Orders ship about 5-10 days after receiving your payment. Items which
require no government export paperwork are faster. Government holidays,
special items or items that require more than the ordinary Thai
Government paperwork for export may take a bit longer. These special
items mention the longer lead time in their product descriptions.
Transit time from Thailand to your destination varies by country, but
is usually 2-3 days.
Customs clearance time varies greatly by port of entry, but is usually
no more than 2 days. If the carrier contacts you to request information
(such as more detailed company or personal information), be sure to
respond promptly, as delays in supplying information to customs can
cause additional delays.

Do you have a printed catalog?
ExporThai is a 100%
internet wholesale business; we don't maintain a printed catalog.
Being 100% on line gives us the ability to keep our overhead low, our case sizes
small, and our selection and pricing constantly up-to-date! Because our
product selection is constantly being updated, a printed catalog would be out-of-date as soon as it came off the press!

Of course, since you are buying direct, our prices are the same as you
would get when buying much larger quantities. So, you'll probably want to
buy more than one item. Especially since you will find shipping cost more
economical with the more items you buy - the cost per unit weight
of shipping goes down dramatically with weight.

much duty will I pay?
Duty rates vary from
product to product and country to country. Based on worldwide averages,
we suggest you budget about five percent of product
cost for duty and costs in your home country.
However, for the types of items sold by ExporThai, many items enter
World Trade Organization (WTO) countries duty-free.
Finally, for orders under US$2000, many countries assess no duty on your order.
For specific rates and duty information, your local customs department can provide you detail breakdowns specific to your country.

At ExporThai, we're
experts on preparing proper documents for shipping our products
worldwide. When you order from us, products will be delivered directly
to your door, just as if you ordered from someone in your own country.

any contact or inquiry from the shipping carrier. Sometimes
they may need additional information about you or your company in order
to clear your package in a timely way.

Why is there a charge for fumigation on my order going to Australia?
Australia is the only country in the world requiring fumigation of all shipments containing wood, paper or bamboo products.
Whether the shipment comes by sea or by air, in whatever size, certified fumigation in the country of origin is required.
In the past, the cost to fumigate and certify shipments was nominal, so ExporThai paid for the fumigation at its own expense.
Beginning in early 2006, new Australian requirements forbid the batching of small shipments in a single fumigation and required use of an Australian government certified fumigator.
This means that we pay a high price for fumigation, even for the smallest shipments.
ExporThai now asks our customers
to share some of the cost of fumigation for orders under USD1500. We apologize for the change and thank you for your understanding.
